Many consider this region, just above Portland, one of the best kept secrets around! The rocky coastline, combined with hundreds of uninhabited islands, makes Casco Bay the perfect environment for striped bass, bluefish and mackerel.
Start your day fishing for mackerel, to be used as bait fish. It's an easy job, and gets you fired up for the real challenge of the striped bass! Then you roam the waters looking for just the right spot, close to the rocks where some of the largest striped bass feed and hide from the eager fisherman. Then cast your line and tempt the striped bass with your mackerel. The big striped bass are smart, or maybe lazy, they like the bait to come to them, not chase it. So keep your line close into the rocks and you'll be rewarded with the excitement of the big catch of the day! Captain Terry, has his favorite spots for catching the "keepas." Captain Terry offer fishing tours to please the avid fisherman as well as the beginner.
Captain Terry has found that his passengers are pleasantly surprised that you don't have to spend half of your tour going out to sea to find the right spot. Captain Terry motors his 24-foot Robalo around the many islands of Casco Bay, and you are taken back by the beauty of these islands, and the wildlife that you observe. From the playful seals to the osprey hunting for their meal, even the dedicated fisherman will take time to enjoy nature's beauty.
Captain Terry offers full and half day fishing tours or nature tours, as well as evening dinner tours to some of Casco Bay's local waterfront restaurants.
Fishing Tours
Captain Terry is a US Coast Guard licensed captain. All bait and tackle provided, no fishing license required. Make sure to bring your own lunch, or specify that you'd like to visit one of our local dockside restaurants.

Captain Terry offers Two Hour Sunset Dinner Cruise, enjoy one of our local dockside restaurants and a sunset cruise around the islands to seal watch. Or book a Two Hour Day trip to see Eagle Island (Admiral Perry's summer home), lobsterman hauling their traps, osprey, seals and much more!
